Kasi Halwa (White Pumpkin Halwa)

Ingredients
Grated white Pumpkin -1 cup
(squeeze out excess water)
Sugar-1/2 cup + 1/3 cup
Ghee-5tsp
Melon seeds-2tsp
Cardamom powder-1/4tsp
Yellow food colour-a pinch
Method
Heat 1 tsp of ghee in a pan fry the pumpkin till raw smell goes off & cooked.Add sugar ,cardamom powder,yellow food colour & melon seeds, cook it till dry.Now add the ghee & cook till the halwa leaves the sides of the pan. Serve it warm.
