Ingredients
Long grain rice-2 cups
Idly rice-2 cups
Urad dhal-a hand full
Urad dhal-a hand full
Methi-1tsp
Salt to taste
Cooked rice-1/2 cup
Coconut-1/2 cup
Salt-1tsp
Method
Soak all above ingredients for 2 hrs.Grind it to a smooth batter.Add salt & sugar ,leave it to ferment overnight.Next day beat the batter & dilute it a bit.Heat a appam kadai & smear oil.Pour a ladle of batter & rotate it .Close & cook it till brown.Serve it with Vegetable Stew.
